The 2020 Cirencester Nativity Trail
Welcome to the 2020 Cirencester Nativity Trail!
This public accessible trail runs from the 5th December to the 27th December 2020. See below for details of the special Toddler Trail.
The trail map will be released on Saturday 5th December and you will be able to download it from the Nativity Trail Facebook page. Once you have the map, you can follow the trail around Cirencester. Each trail location is marked in the town by an A3 picture that looks something like this:
The trail tells the story of the Nativity of Jesus if you follow the numbers in order from 1 to 12. You don’t have to follow the trail in order, though! You will be able to find the pictures and solve the quiz questions whichever order you do them in.
All the locations are indicated by little pictures on the map that give a clue to which shop or location you will find the A3 marker picture in. The pictures are up inside the windows of these locations, so you don’t need to go inside.
One winner will be randomly selected each week for the three weeks of the trail and will receive a £20 gift voucher for local shops.
Within the main trail, there is a toddler trail. In the centre of town you will find:
- Five locations with gold angels
- One location with a sneaky donkey picture
- And sometimes donkey himself may be around and about in town!
There is a separate Toddler Trail Sheet to write the answers in.
Parents of toddlers who present a completed angel trail sheet will be able to collect a small prize from Cirencester Baptist Church during opening hours (Mon – Fri, 9am – 3pm). Contact Steven Chandanam on 07910 636550 if you come to the church during these hours but can’t get into the building.
Have fun and enjoy the trail!
